Desinteresse is a Dutch coldwave act consisting of Bart (bass), Joppe (drums), and Sem (vocals/synth/guitar). Formed in late 2022, the band initially released music as a duo, dropping their debut album Voor Altijd in April 2023 and the EP Ik Wil Dood Als Ik Het Vergeet in November 2023, both on cassette. Since 2024, Desinteresse has operated as a trio, and though the band just appeared, they were already invited to play Grauzone festival and did multiple shows around Netherlands Germany and Belgium. Their latest release, the 7” single Grijze Dromen, came out in August 2024 and caught a wide interest of the music community in Europe and US.

All music is released through their own label DECADENCE using original vintage equipment as a deliberate form of artistic expression and identity. Desinteresse’s live performances evoke a cold, melancholic atmosphere, where sounds and voice are not primary but amplify the weight of their message, emphasizing the non-existential and abandoned emotions that define their sound.
