Desinteresse is a Dutch coldwave act consisting of Bart (bass), Joppe (drums), and Sem (vocals/synth/guitar). Formed in late 2022, the band initially released music as a duo, dropping their debut album Voor Altijd in April 2023 and the EP ‘Ik Wil Dood Als Ik Het Vergeet’ in November 2023, both on cassette via their own label Decadence. Since 2024, Desinteresse has operated as a trio, and though the band just appeared, they were already invited to play Grauzone festival and did multiple shows around Netherlands Germany and Belgium. Their 7” single ‘Grijze Dromen’ which came out in August 2024 and start the upcoming album release cycle, caught a wide interest of the community in Europe and US. In March 2025 after dropping the second single ‘Silhouet’ they were signed to Fabrika Records for the new album ‘Onschuld’, that has been released in September 2025.

Desinteresse produce music using original vintage equipment as a deliberate form of artistic expression and identity. Their live performances evoke a cold, melancholic atmosphere, where sounds and voice are not primary but amplify the weight of their message, emphasizing the non-existential and abandoned emotions that define their sound.
