PRAYERS is the pioneer of the CHOLOGOTH movement.

By combining the frosty abrasiveness of acts such as Christian Death and Skinny Puppy with the more accessible pop stylings of Depeche Mode and Pet Shop Boys, PRAYERS has created a unique and gripping sound that both contrasts and compliments his fierce and honest lyrics.

PRAYERS uncompromising vision exploring the harsh realities of street life and gangs while sonically referencing dark 80s music and traditional Mexican rhythms drew the attention of the Cult’s Ian Astbury and later, Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker. Astbury added PRAYERS to their 2015 tour. Barker, who was turned onto PRAYERS by Skinhead Rob of the Transplants, produced PRAYERS’ third album, Young Gods.

PRAYERS success in art and fashion pushed him to increase his musical output, collaborating with Ray Brady and Picture Plane as well as Dave Parley for PRAYERS fourth and to date only major label album, Baptism of Thieves, as well as an EP, Cursed Be Thy Blessings, with the legendary Rikk Angew, Gitane Demone and James McGearty of Christian Death.

Cholo Goth the newest album was produced by Ray Brady and released February 2, 2022. Like Prayer’s first three albums, it was released independently. Cholo Goth charted at Number One across multiple streaming platforms, and along with PRAYERS solo work, includes collaborations with Annie Hardy of Giant Drag and Robert Harvey.
