LUISA ALMAGUER

Booking Agent : Ricky Biondetti, Marco Portello & Diego Bustamante

Luisa Almaguer is a singer, songwriter, and Mexican artist from Azcapotzalco, Mexico City. Her work has become one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary Latin transfeminist music, where emotion, risk, and identity are articulated through a deeply personal and political lens.

Luisa’s work reveals a vast and sensitive inner world expressed through music, language, performance, and audiovisual storytelling. Her discography includes three key releases: Mijillo (2016), her debut album Mataronomatar, and the critically acclaimed WEYES (2024).

Throughout her career, she has experienced defining moments such as touring with Africa Express, opening shows for Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Fangoria, and Weyes Blood, and collaborating with Damon Albarn. Luisa is a singer and a trans woman — not as a label, but as an inherent and inseparable truth within her artistic identity. Her musical approach moves between rock, hyperpop, shoegaze, and folk, combining intensity, melody, and a strong poetic charge.
