The brainchild of visual artist and musician Laura Pleasants, The Discussion has rapidly hooked a diverse and growing fanbase with its genre-bending, decidedly dark sonic identity and lyrical content rooted in post-punk, new wave and goth, with a distinct nod to the wider canons of shoegaze and death rock. A waterfall of singles are currently slated for release throughout the rest of the year, paving the road for Laura to hit the road hard in 2025
