For over fifteen years, ZU’s modus operandi of straddling and abusing musical genres has resulted in over fifteen unique album releases across labels such as Ipecac, Atavistic, Headz (JP). They collaborated with iconic names like David Tibet, Mats Gustafsson (Fire!), Mike Patton just to name a few.

John Zorn described their sound as “a powerful and expressive music that totally blows away what most bands do these days”.

They will play live new music that they started to write.

The band toured in Springtime 2024 with Yoshida from the iconic Japanese noise rock band Ruins, performing as RuinsZu.
