Morbific is a Finnish rotten-to-the-core Death Metal trio risen from the burial ground of Kitee in early 2020 and since then has been oozing pus in the vein of Autopsy, Rottrevore, Mortician and the ancient Finnish masters of death. Their abhorrently heavy and gritty sound moves between haunting doom passages, infectious mid-paced undead walking and maggot-swarming blasts with lyrics strongly inspired by old horror films. In their short time of existence, the trio has already defecated a stinky pile of releases and spread their stench with several live rituals around Europe.

Morbific released their first demonstration “Pestilent Hordes” in 2020 and their widely acclaimed debut album “Ominous Seep of Putridity” in the following year. In 2022 they released a split EP with Anatomia and their sophomore album “Squirm Beyond the Mortal Realm” and the rapid pace continued in 2023 with the Galvanizer/Morbific split EP. In 2024, the band will mainly concentrate on cooking slime for their next full-length and will put out smaller meat chops while waiting for it…Morbific recently released the bomb well acclaimed “Bloom of the Abnormal Flesh”and toured the USA West Coast for the first time .
