Booking Agent : Giorgio Salmoiraghi & Luca Ciscognetti

A version of James K was born. Comprised of bones, reactive metals and a larynx with freckled eyes that catalyzes that mix, she can now see through all the schemes. This is the truth. When she chews gum, it’s not clear which one of her personas does it. Since their first release in 2013, describing them separately is grunt work as they switch places, cosplay each other and would most likely lull you into a lonesome dream. Together, they know how to produce, sound, film and edit. Thus, they are brought to the table, performing and DJing in clubs and theaters, along composers and musicians alike. She produces music that makes temporary haven for indomitable lyrics – and these are in constant flux. You can check what they are here: [917 908-1173]. It’s only a part of her fairly detailed world. A world that she abandons and then builds upon.

She released her sophomore LP on Incienso in September 2022, has released with labels such as AD 93, PAN, Dial, UNO, among others, and operates her label She Rocks! In addition to recently contributing to compilations for TT and Cluster Node, her collaboration with hoodie, a 10” titled ‘Scorpio,’ was released this past summer via AD 93, landing on numerous EOTY lists. K has been a resident on NTS, with her show, ‘Trip Lick,’ since 2019, has provided mix’s for magazines such as Crack and Fact, and is a past resident of Issue Project Room, NY. She has collaborated with artists such as Hoodie, Beta Librae, Drew McDowall, crimeboys, Yves Tumor (‘Licking an Orchid’), LEYA, Parris, among others.


In 2023, she has performed throughout the US, UK and Europe at festivals and venues such as Sustain Release, Dripping Festival, Nowadays, Public Records, Berghain/Saule, Volksbuhne, and Subbacultcha. In recent years, she has played at Meakusma Festival, Tresor 31 Festival, and NY Art Book Fair, as well as support for pioneer Morton Subotnick’s final run of live shows, and has shared the stage with James Ferraro, Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe, and Yves Tumor.
In January 2024, she will release her long-form composition, ‘Elektra,’ with iDEAL recordings, and in 2024, a 6 track EP with Psychic Liberation, as well as a number collaborations with artists such as Moin, Oli XL, Heith, Huerco S, Perko, Priori, among others. She is currently finishing her third full length album.
She will tour Australia and Asia in Spring 2024.

Sometimes you can’t hear the words……since anything beyond everything she wants to give you a hint……it’s not pretty (but it’s pretty).
