DEATHRITE are Leipzig’s death-rock punks: a five-piece whose music pushes at the boundaries between death metal, black metal, hardcore and noise punk. Formed in 2010, the band have developed a raw and unmistakable language built on crushing riffs, desperate momentum and a persistent rock-and-roll pulse.

Their catalogue runs from the self-titled 2011 debut and Into Extinction through Revelation of Chaos, Nightmares Reign and the Delirium EP. The 2024 album Flames Licking Fever drives that evolution further into a hallucinatory collision of black metal, death metal and noise punk.

Across more than a decade of recording and touring, DEATHRITE have remained committed to the friction between metal and punk: direct, ferocious and continually moving toward darker ground.
