Named after the weapon that killed Godzilla in the original 1954 movie, Oxygen Destroyer are here with their 3rd full-length album Guardian of the Universe! Rising from the depths of the underground w/ 2 scorching releases, their debut Bestial Manifestations of Malevolence and Death and the stunning follow-up Sinister Monstrosities Spawned by the Unfathomable Ignorance of Humankind, this ferocious quartet brings a unique and monstrous energy on this one, paying homage to the Heisei Gamera trilogy, which is considered by many to be the pinnacle of the Kaiju film genre.

With riffs as colossal as Godzilla himself, thundering drums that mimic the footfalls of giants, and vocals that roar with primal fury, Oxygen Destroyer deliver a sonic onslaught that will leave you slack-jawed. Their music is an auditory embodiment of the chaos and power depicted in classic Kaiju films, bringing these mythical battles to life!

Oxygen Destroyer started off 2024 strong supporting Skeletal Remains along with Morta Skuld this past March and went out in May with death metal underground darlings Undergang and Ascended Dead. Beginning in August, Oxygen Destroyer embarked on 3 week tour named, Thy Tour Is Legion, across the US in support of the release of Guardian of the Universe. The band aren’t done yet, as they’ll be heading back out with Kontusion this winter as well as jumping on a few dates with maniacs, Ghoul! For those uninitiated, Oxygen Destroyer’s live shows are a full-throttle experience that engulf audiences in the sheer magnitude of their death/thrash excellence.
